G3 has come out with a new AT binding called the Onyx.
While I like the idea of combining Dynafit's toe-only attachment with step-in convenience, the weight spec 1430 g doesn't seem low enough to spark a revolution... at any rate, it is good to see new options entering the market. would be curious to hear reviews if anyone gets to test this product out.

I guess Dynafit's patent

I guess Dynafit's patent wore out and now these types of bindings are called "tech" bindings. It looks like a dynafit that can be switched between skis with a plate and has a DIN type toe release. It sounds like it may be a bit less fiddly as well.

Got some cool features as

Got some cool features as far as being adjustable but I would never dive into this product in its first year. Dynafit makes a lighter product and they have been at it for a long time. Still, its good to see another outfit enter into the "tech" binder realm. I'll give them a few years to dial their shit before I drop $430 on clamps.

I think same, never by a product in its first year. So I bought Dynafit FT12
