While America seems to have fallen short, Denmark looks to have a full line up. There are rumors of a team Aussie as well but someone needs to tell them this isn't FIELD hockey so they don't have to wear skirts.

I'm cheerleading for team Finland at home (at Messilä ). Oh boy if you'd see my outfit... Team Finland for the win!

Well, the results are in. Before I release the official scores I would like to give huge props to Team Aussie, who on the most part didn't even know how to hold the stick but were keen, perhaps lured by the promise of free beer but still did their nation proud. Working For Turns put in a an AMAZING ringer performance to level the playing field for Team Aussie and even scored a hat-trick and had them up against team Scandi for a good part of the game. Oh, and that is right, it was team SCANDI and not team FINLAND. Finland lost too many players to hangover and other mishaps that they showed up with only 2 players, despite boasting 2 shifts before the game. I am not even sure Finland is part of scandinavia anyway but that is OK because their top player was from the hockey power of Denmark. Anyway, I am having trouble remembering the score through all beer but here are the results

Not bad, thanks finnish and danish buddies.

Next year maybe we can challenge Canucks, hope I'm then in Hakuba or maybe in Canuckstan and burning their sticks and ice rinks (and all ganga plantations)

Really fun games yesterday. I'm bit shamed of team Finland dropping out. Well it was still fun to play with danish, we had a good team. Canada was better this time, can't win every time.

Playing in skiboots would have been a bit of a challenge...

FT, me and Lachlan showed how to play hockey to danish guys and Daryl's team.

We won 6-2 and we didn't have change player. Damn we're good and so fit.
