Hey guys,
With winter in sight, I thought this place might be in need of some skiing stoke. I caught the final 6 weeks of the southern winter in Lenas and the surrounding areas this year. Per my usual South American standard, the camera did not come out very often, but heres a few photos and a video nonetheless. The season finished up a week ago, but it took me awhile to make it to civilized place with decent internet (Lima?) to get everything online.
First, some POV footage

Ryan, airing into my favorite zone for this season.

...and getting one last slash on the exit.

Matthias near one of the Galena Girl entrances. 1200m of couloir still to go.

Augustin, sketchy scree scrambling on Cerro Martin.

Torrecillas.

And lastly, Cerro Lenas with a condor in the foreground.
Anyone ready for winter yet?

I defo got get there one fine day - Las Lenas I mean - rather sooner than later.
Seems well worth spending the first summer holidays of my adulthood there.
(Since high school I've allways worked during the summer to earn enough to go to ski, or later saved my summer vacation for the winter for obvious reasons.)
Nice TR Lee
That last run on the Lido looked quite sharp
