Just came back from a sick road-access backcountry trip north-east of Asahikawa.
And I just had the deepest day ever!!!
I can't really describe it with words here some pics....
I'm heading down towards Hakoda... Anyone around the area that would like to make some turns??

looks like hokkaido-- we got rockin weather this year-- saw your post about asahidake-- looks like you got unlucky with the wind blowing off the good stuff.
