That is a good feature for locals.  If the site expanded even slightly beyond the poach ninja crew then it would not work.  Could you imagine the cunting that would occur if TGR had a calender?  We could put these feature in for invitees though...

I will follow this one to see what the prefernces are and come up with some ideas.  When membership grows, the calendar would probably be used as a tool for stupid.

gotcha.  well i guess i would be a nice thing if a few people had the ability to create events in the calendar and then be able to link threads to those events.  would be pretty useful if there was an Evergreen Avi Course and then a thread accompanied with it or something along those lines.  there's no english language source for events as far as i'm aware.... like "where can we go get drunk", "i don't know, check poachninja", "sounds like FT's vending machine is going off".   something along those lines.

Speaking of FT's vending machine, I think on paper it is one of the highest returning assets in the industry but they have yet to work out internal accounting problems and transfer pricing issues...

I can probably find an 'upcoming events' module to list these types of things.  It would then be edited in a similar way to the Wiki.

We could also create a shared Google calendar and embed in PN somewhere.  I dont know much about that.  Access rights would be only possible if you have a gmail account.  I think.

There are other ideas I'm pondering.
