snow-forecast seems to be offline every other day this season. Plus wrong more often than not.
Are there any alpine specific forecast services out there? I need to know more than when it will snow and how much. Weather maps are good, but I am quite simply unable to interpret from them likely alpine visibility and the time of day I should expect clouds to roll in. Besides wind, temperature and rate of snowfall, vis is the most important thing to me.

Weather news has a good baro chart.
I may be dreaming, but one day something like this for Hakuba would be great. http://meteo.chamonix.com/MetPreE.php
It would require excellent local knowledge to produce.
