My brother and I rode the cirques behind Goryu a fair bit. This is him looking over the edge near a corniced lip. The line is 40-45 for a bit then gradually moves down to 25 for good 1000m vert. We rode it the following morning after having scoped out the pack in the afternoon when this shot was taken. Some pros and film crew wanted to poach the line of us just as we were about to drop in. We went first, they found another (lesser) line. I gladly let anyone ski my line first, hell, I'll go sixth for all I care. But pro photo teams making a dvd... that doesn't count for shit and using it as an argument to poach the line from under us didn't work (although I almost let them go first anyway).
